Wendi, our Human Resources Director, oversees our employee relations and is actively involved in recruiting, compensation, and career development programs. She works with employees in all offices to coordinate EM-Assist’s mentor and wellness programs.

“During my first year at EM-Assist, I arranged an extended leave to travel to Russia to work in an orphanage in partnership with a non-profit organization called Children's Hopechest. EM-Assist has continued to support my work there by being flexible and helping me return to Russia with Children's Hopechest every year since.”
“On each trip, we spend a week running a summer camp for orphans including a mix of lessons, crafts, and games. We’ve been fortunate to bring along donated educational supplies and sports equipment each trip. During our January trip, we brought donated coats, hats, boots, and gloves for each child — it was the first time any of these orphans had ever been given anything brand new that they didn’t have to share. If you’ve ever wondered what kind of impact one person can have, I will let Anya, a girl I met on my first trip and who is now in 4th grade at Holuy orphanage, answer: ‘I had been looking for a friend and found one in you.’”
